SERVICES

Thanks to our careful approach to treatment, we’ll help you look natural, refreshed, and rested (even if you’re not!). The condition of your skin and muscles in the areas we are addressing will determine the dosing, location, and frequency of your injections. Here’s how we make it happen:

Botox®

Probably the most widely-known anti-aging injection, Botox is a highly-studied and very safe medicine used for the reduction of the appearance of wrinkles that are caused by muscle movement (such as creases in between the eyebrows, smile lines, or “crow’s feet,” and in the forehead). While the effects of Botox are not permanent (generally lasting 3–4 months), you’ll enjoy significant reduction in wrinkles in the treated areas. Over time, additional treatments can be even more effective. Botox can also be used to treat excessive underarm sweating called hyperhidrosis. These results can last up to 6 months.

We can’t forget the men — a.k.a. Brotox — for great anti-aging treatment!

Xeomin®

Xeomin® is unique. It was the first clinically proven anti-wrinkle injection uniquely purified to remove proteins unnecessary for treatment, so that patients do not build up resistance to the product.

Xeomin is indicated for temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines in adult patients. Xeomin is uniquely purified and precisely manufactured in a German facility using advanced technology to isolate the therapeutic component. Created by Merz Aesthetics.

Not sure which neurotoxin to get? We can decide which product is best for you during your appointment. Results typically last 3–4 months.

Dysport®

Dysport works much in the same way as its “cousin” medication, Botox. Dysport injections help to reduce the underlying muscle activity that causes the skin to appear wrinkled or folded. In some patients, Dysport can last several months, and its effects may be seen a bit sooner than those of Botox. Dysport is also highly studied, effective, and safe.

Note: The choice between Botox and Dysport will depend on your skin type, wrinkle type, and the treatment location(s). Both originate from the same source, and both are neurotoxins that block muscle contractions and are widely used to treat facial wrinkles. Many times the effects of Botox or Dysport are based on how you personally metabolize each product. (Not sure which one to choose? No worries…Cara’s careful skin analysis during your consultation will help you find the best option for you!)

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are injectables with multiple uses, such as smoothing out fine lines, deep wrinkles/folds, or “laugh lines,” and treating acne scars. They can also be used to create more volume or definition in your lips, or to contour your chin or jaw. To give you a more lifted appearance, fillers can be used to plump up sunken cheeks or temples.

We offer the following dermal fillers in our office:

Versa®
This hyaluronic acid treatment can be effective for up to a full year, and can cause less post-treatment swelling at the injection site than other treatments. Versa adds volume to the lips and folds for a soft, plump look, with less post-procedure swelling.

Juvederm®
The Juvederm family of products are all designed to help temporarily improve the loss of facial volume by using a modified form of hyaluronic acid. The effects of Juvederm can last up to a full year.

  • Voluma™ – For a liquid face lift in the cheeks and jaw. Typically lasts 1 1/2 to 2 years.
  • Juvederm™ Ultra Plus – For lip plumping and facial volume. Typically lasts up to 1 year.
  • Volbella™ – For subtle plumping of the lips and lip lines. Typically lasts up to 1 year.
  • Volux™ – For jawline definition and chin enhancement. Typically lasts up to 1 year.

The filler used for your treatment may depend on your individual skin type, your appearance goals, or personal preference, and can be determined at your free consultation.

Kybella®

One of the areas of the body that makes people the most self-conscious is the appearance of a “double chin.” (This is medically referred to as “submental fullness.”)

Whether yours is caused by genetics, weight, or age, the good news is, there’s a way to reduce the appearance of it for good! Kybella is a non-surgical, permanent solution that can yield a significant improvement to your chin’s profile. (Kybella is administered in a series of injections, so depending on your goals, be prepared to return for follow-up appointments.)

VI Peel®

VI Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel,  that is safe for all skin types, and painless.  It treats acne, melasma, aging skin, hyperpigmentation and scarring, while increasing cell turnover and stimulating collagen production for long-lasting results. Results are seen in 7 days!

Following the VI Peel with a Neurotoxin injection in one, simple procedure not only helps soften and smooth fine lines and wrinkles, but creates a smooth, even skin texture.

WHAT YOUR TREATMENTS CAN DO

Many people (both women and men) are concerned about the effects of aging on their skin. The goals of aesthetic medicine and anti-aging treatments are to help you subtly slow and/or reduce the visible signs of aging. So while you continue to shine from within, your treatments will help others to better see the real you.

Our treatments can help you achieve the results you’re looking for in almost any area of your face, (for a liquid face lift), a more rested look, plumping lips and correcting volume loss, and can even add volume to your hands.

WHAT TO EXPECT

CHOOSING YOUR TREATMENTS

Medical aesthetics are just one way to feel good about yourself, so chances are, you may not know exactly which products or type of treatments will work best for the areas you’d like to work on. Or, you may know exactly which product/treatment type you want.

Either way, we’ll work with you to create a fully customized treatment plan, designed to help you achieve your individual goals.

We’ll begin our time with you with a fully-personalized consultation, discuss your goals for your treatment, and recommend the best option(s) for your specific skin type. Depending on your needs, the consultation usually takes approximately 15 minutes.

TIME FOR YOU

In general, clients can expect us to spend approximately 20 minutes to an hour in our office, including the consultation time. Of course, the more treatments you are having/areas we are addressing, the longer our time together will be.

RESPECTING YOUR PRIVACY

One of the best things about working with the intimate practice setting at CaraMia is our emphasis on respecting your privacy. There’s no need to worry about awkward waiting rooms with lots of people, because your consultation and appointment time is set aside expressly for you.

COMPETITIVE PRICING

You shouldn’t have to sacrifice quality for cost, especially when it comes to your appearance. That’s why you’ll find that the pricing at CaraMia is as friendly to your wallet as we are to you.

NOT QUITE READY YET? THAT’S OK, TOO.

Many clients proceed with their treatment the same day as their initial consultation. However, we also understand that making the decision to have your treatment may take some time to consider. We will then gladly provide you with a treatment estimate, and then you can just call back when you’re ready to book your appointment.
